Experience
September 2005: Shortly after Hurricane Katrina, responded to the City of Biloxi, Mississippi, where I acted as the Crisis Manager for the Biloxi Police Department. In this position, I provided both individual and group Crisis Counseling services to Law Enforcement employees and their families.

Provide court-appointed and privately retained family mediation services for families experiencing divorce, and those needing updated or revised marital separation agreements. Mental Health Team Leader in response to incidents involving mass casualty or death or serious injury in which law enforcement, fire rescue or any agency involved in the incident experience post-traumatic stress disorder. Requested by the New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police to perform Critical Incident Stress Management for members of their agency immediately after the September 11 attack in New York City at the World Trade Center disaster site. Requested to return in October 2001 and performed same function.

Instituted the Broward Sheriff’s Office Health and Fitness Facility. Directly supervised program implementation from the onset and developed a comprehensive, full-service center for all employees and their immediate family members. Acting in accordance with the policies and procedures and guidelines of the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the Fitness Facility provides optimum services to enhance the quality and longevity of individual member’s health and job performance.
Organized Crime Division (Narcotics)

Conceptualized, planned, implemented, and oversaw the initiation of the United States Customs Liaison positions as a member of the Organized Crime Division, Special Projects Unit. Position coordination included: identification of project, presentation of program necessity to the appropriate officials, community networking, independent action to set-up and implement effective programming with high quality and volume outcomes at minimal expense, and in accordance with budgetary limitations.
